To the surprise of the students the Mist has been completely modernized, perhaps even more so than the Leaf, and seeing their amazement in the midst of a different village and culture is undoubtedly entertaining. Principal Iruka concurs, and before they know it the students are on a cruise ship en route to the Hidden Mist. With last week’s fear of war still hanging in the air, Naruto hopes to improve relations with the Land of Water by sending his village’s students on a field trip to their Hidden Village. The field trip antics are entertaining but the story moves a bit slowly, giving us only the tiniest hint of a coming conflict before the episode’s end. Lucky for them the Hokage has planned a field trip to the Land of Water, which provides the young ninja a chance to relax, and us a chance to see how the modern era has changed other parts of the ninja world. With Sarada’s arc finally coming to an end, it's back to school for the students of the Hidden Leaf.
